🌸 themes updated;
All of my themes have been updated with the following:
- v3 of my NPF fix (some old themes were still using v2).
- the carousel lightbox for NPF photosets has returned.
- if any themes have post type indicators, I’ve done my best to make adjustments for NPF posts so they’re better at matching what post type they’re intended to be (e.g. photoset, poll, video).
- all of them now have “unblue polls” installed, which adapts to the style of the current theme.
- minor fixes across the board.
🌟 If you’re using any of my themes, it’s recommended that you install the latest version from my Pastebin (or Frog Git 🐸).
☎️ If you need help with updating, e.g. if you’ve made heavy edits to a theme and don’t want to reinstall the whole thing, you can contact me via the #theme-help channel on my Discord server, and remember to read the #server-rules so I can assist you better!
Pinned Post
Hello everyone, I’ve heard a lot of you are frustrated that when asking for JS permission on pages, you now have to attach your code or JS files, but the attachment is only for images… I’m trying to get permission on one of my side accounts to test it out, will update my post if I find out the best way to deal with it.
2023-06-13 // update: added some additional details to my instructions post.
Made my own sticky sidebar plugin because Leafo’s stickykit hasn’t been maintained in forever so it’s no longer working, not even on their site. Basically what it does it lets you have sticky sidebars with an option that allows tall sticky elements to keep scrolling with the page, and it stops when the end is reached, and when you scroll back up it unsticks itself. TLDR it allows you to see all the content more naturally.
Unreleased at the moment, but maybe in the future. 🌤️
haven’t really been up to anything lately since school is still eating up 99% of my time, but I redid my recs page. it now comes with filters ( ´ ∀ `)ノ~ ♡

Hi! I wanted to let you know that your post about requesting custom JS is outdated. Tumblr support now DOES require that you send them the exact code that you want to use, along with the exact specific page URLs that you want to use it on. Also the processing time has been increased from less than a week to multiple weeks :( I just wanted to let you know since your post is the first thing that shows up when you google "tumblr javascript", and people might not realize how restrictive it is now
Hi there, thanks for letting me know! (And sorry for the late reply). I’ve updated my post to include this (❁´◡`❁)
I've loved your themes for years! Do you think you'll release your current them for public use anytime soon?
I’ve released my current theme as a premium (paid) theme a while back called Ignorance, part of my “Ignorance & Bliss” code pack, it’s available on my Ko-Fi store ヾ(^-^)ノ
NPF based template
This is an alternative to the more extensive base code I'm working on that uses the NPF variable that still uses the legacy theme blocks and variables. This is intended to keep your theme making process familiar and more comfortable for those who do not have a lot of JS experience but still want to utilize the NPF variable.
The JS is pretty minimal (especially compared to the full NPF theme), but it uses the NPF variable to keep formatting more consistent with the legacy post types. While you do not need to edit any JS to use this theme, if you want to, you can use more things from the NPF variable like getting checkmarks for users that have them!
This theme will also take into consideration if photos or other media should not move, like in the case of text separating photosets.
Here is a before and after of a post made with the beta editor:
This base code is very simple compared to my other ones (it is only the posts and pagination), so please edit it as much as you want! I didn't want this to be restricted to a specific style or layout. Given a lot of theme makers have felt limited with their post styles since switching to one post type, I'm hoping this can help bridge that gap.
Let me know if you have any questions or run into problems while using this!
